PHIPA Role: Prescribed Entity (PE)
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of this data set is to support Ontario Health in the tracking and management of COVID positive cancer and renal patients as well as health system-related analytics and reporting.
Need for Personal Health Information: PHI is required for health system planning work, for example, examining the long- term outcomes, utilization and care trajectories of COVID-19 survivors to develop optimal pathways of care for COVID-19 patients treated in hospital that span acute, post-acute and community care.
